Today, House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy -- widely seen as the next Speaker of the House -- is touring the southern border. He just announced that he is introducing the Build the Wall, Enforce the Law Act.

The bill would fully fund the border wall, to the tune of $23 billion. But the legislative package also includes Kate's Law, a ban on sanctuary cities, and a bill to help Border Patrol quickly deport illegal alien gang members.

And it doesn't include ANY amnesty!

You must co-sponsor it. You must shepherd it through committee. And you must do everything in your power to put it on President Trump's desk.

The legislation would fully fund the border wall and give President Trump all of the $23 billion he needs to secure the southern border. But it also includes Kate's Law, the No Sanctuary for Criminals Act, the Criminal Alien Gang Removal Act, and two resolutions supporting ICE and condemning illegal alien voting.

All without any amnesty provisions.

For far too long, your colleagues have tried to hold this country's national security hostage in order to get amnesty, and a pathway to citizenship, for illegal aliens. This is shameful.

Thousands of Americans are victimized at the hands of illegal aliens every year. That doesn't even include the Americans who are killed or injured from cross-border drug trade or drug crime.

You swore an oath to protect us. We are not pawns in some political game. To trade safety and security for amnesty is despicable.

That is why this legislation only deals with securing the border and enforcing the law. Then, and only then, can we have the debate on what to do with illegal aliens in the country. You and I both know that passing amnesty without border security and enforcement will just lead to more immigration.

We saw it in 1986. We saw it in 2006. Never again. The border wall must be funded first, before anything else!

This is what I am voting on this election. Any Congressman or Senator who opposes the Build the Wall, Enforce the Law Act will be removed from office.

That is not a threat, it is a promise!
