Yesterday, the entire country was watching the Senate Judiciary Committee's hearing on the allegations against Brett Kavanaugh.

While that was happening, the GOP leadership in the House pushed through a massive surrender spending package that outlaws President Trump from building a border wall for the next 12 months.

Paul Ryan didn't have the votes to pass it with just Republican support. He relied on Democrats to pass the Senate's liberal spending plan.

Now, Ryan and the GOP are giving Trump an ultimatum: If he wants to build a border wall, he must agree to grant permanent amnesty and a pathway to citizenship to all of the illegal aliens who were given amnesty by Obama.

It's truly a sinister plan. Ryan's proposal would give temporary and vulnerable funding to only partially secure the border. Future Congresses would be allowed to claw back the funds and all of the illegal aliens would still get their amnesty. And if the funding is protected, it will still only pay for a fraction of the border wall. Hundreds of miles would still be left unsecured.

The Leadership wants to delay this amnesty vote until after the midterm election. They expect We the People to re-elect them on nothing but the promise to fund the wall.

Congress has had close to a dozen opportunities to fund the border wall since the 2016 election. A border fence was authorized back in 2006, and we've been waiting 12 years for the funding to be appropriated for it.

I have been hearing these promises for decades, stretching all the way back to the Reagan years. For decades, we have been betrayed on this.

Do you really think we're this stupid? Do you really think that we will vote for you on a promise to secure the border later, once the electorate loses all leverage?

I am sorry, but I refuse to fall for this again. Ryan and the establishment have already shown their hand. You and your colleagues just pushed through a spending bill that literally outlaws border wall construction. You had the chance to build the wall, and you said 'no.'

If you want my support, you will abandon the Ryan-McConnell surrender plan and fully fund the border wall NOW! Not after the midterms... now.

If you will not secure the border and protect the American people, you will be removed from office. That is a promise.
