The Congressional leadership has settled on a plan that will delay a vote on border wall funding until after the midterm elections.

Instead of doing that they have been promising for 12+ years, they're claiming that the "timing isn't right" to secure the border and protect Americans against the scourge of illegal immigration and open border crime.

They want to pass a continuing resolution that would ban border wall construction. Then, after securing re-election, they are promising to lift that ban and fully fund the project.

You and I both know if this plan moves forward, it will never happen.

The fact of the matter is I don't trust you. Ronald Reagan famously said "trust, but verify." We the People elected you to Congress and put our trust in you. Now, it's time to secure the border.

Congress passed the Secure Fence Act back in 2006. For the last decade, we have heard every excuse for why the border couldn't be fully secured. Every time, we were promised "next time." Once again, the GOP leadership is saying that the "timing isn't right" to appropriate the border wall funds.

Let's get one thing clear: If you don't fund the border wall this month, you will never get another opportunity. You will be removed from office.

The only "timing" you should worry about is failing to fund this border wall before election day.

Any Congressman or Senator who votes against the border wall, or allows for the border to be left unsecured, will be voted out of office.
