President Trump is rolling out the biggest foreign aid cut in American history. The Office of Management and Budget is preparing a rescission package that would cut off $3.5 billion earmarked for foreign aid programs.

The President is living up to his campaign promise. These are my tax dollars. They should be used to help rebuild this country, not prop up foreign countries that hate us.

The eight years under Obama saw a massive redistribution of wealth on a global scale. There wasn't an international aid program that the previous administration disagreed with. They felt it was America's duty to prop up the rest of the world, even countries that hated us and organizations that tried to undermine us.

President Trump's plan would put an end to this by declaring $3.5 billion in aid programs "unnecessary" and returning the funds to the Treasury.

Already, some of your colleagues are scrambling to stop the President. They have never found a foreign aid or UN funding provision that they didn't like.
