When Obama first announced his amnesty executive order, you and your colleagues promised to fight back against this lawlessness by any means necessary. Then-Speaker Boehner and Leader McConnell promised that once legal fights were exhausted, they would use their full powers to shut the amnesty program down.

That was years ago. Yesterday, a Federal Judge ruled that President Trump could not shut down the DACA amnesty bill. Even though Obama created it with just the stroke of the pen, Judge John Bates ruled that Trump cannot use that same pen to end the program. The Judge said that the Trump administration had not provided a 'good enough reason' to end the program. They were told to refile their motion and then the Judge would consider whether their reasoning was good enough.

This is a gross abuse of justice. Congress rejected the Dream Act. The Trump administration has decided against granting amnesty to illegal aliens. But now, one Federal Judge believes he has the power to rewrite immigration laws.

But believe it or not, all of this pales in comparison to what is happening right now behind the scenes in Congress. Your colleagues are hard at work pushing secret amendments to try to expand on Obama's amnesty program.

The House Appropriations Committee approved a provision to expand the country's asylum laws to protect victims of gang and domestic violence. Instead of asylum seekers having to prove they are being targeted for their political or religious beliefs, this provision would allow them to simply claim their spouse beat them. This would open the floodgates and bring millions of migrants into the US under fraudulent asylum claims..

Then, that same Committee approved a provision to reinstate "catch-and-release." Illegal aliens who are apprehended by Border Patrol would once again be released into American society. So even if we discover that these people have submitted fraudulent asylum claims, there would be nothing we could do. The illegal aliens would already have disappeared into the country.

But this isn't even the most shameful amnesty plan in Congress. Right now, GOP leaders are pushing a provision that would shield all amnesty recipients from arrest or deportation. They are trying to attach the amendment to this year's spending package. If passed, it would block any Federal funding from being used to deport an amnesty recipient.

This is absolutely shameful. You should be prioritizing and protecting Americans, not illegal aliens.

You need to understand: these betrayals will not go unnoticed. You will not be able to pass these massive amnesty provisions without facing the consequences.

You must kill each and every one of these amnesty amendments. You cannot allow them to reach President Trump's desk.

I am watching you. We are watching you

If you sign onto these provisions, you will be signing your political death wish and I will not rest until you are removed from office.

That is a solemn promise.
