During yesterday's quarterly UN meeting, the world once again piled on the United States and demanded that more taxpayer dollars be funneled into the UN's radical programs.

Take the UN's Palestine program. President Trump cut hundreds of millions of dollars from the UNRWA because it was being used to fund anti-American and anti-Israeli programs. No, my tax dollars should not teach school children to say "death to America."

Trump's message was simple: put an end to the radicalism and the funding will be restored. Instead, Israel has faced even more rocket attacks and terrorism.

The United Nations is now demanding that all of the funding be restored.

It's time to do the opposite.

Over the past year and a half, we have seen just how desperate the United Nations has become. Without the full support of the Obama administration, it is a lot harder for the UN to impose its will on America.

Whether it was the UN Arms Trade Treaty, the Climate Treaty, the CTBT, or even its resolutions against Israel, the UN and Obama administration would team up to deliberately bypass Congress and the US Constitution.

President Trump has pulled the rug out from under them, but they are still trying.

He is pushing for HR193, the American Sovereignty Restoration Act, to be included in this year's appropriations bill. The legislation is simple. It would cut all US funding to the United Nations. The only funding that would allowed would be to facilitate the United States' formal withdrawal from the UN.

For far too long, American taxpayers have been on the hook for funding UN programs that are deliberately designed to be against the United States' interests.
