Something remarkable happened this week. GOP leadership put an amnesty bill up for a vote and it failed, 121-301.

A total of 112 Republicans voted against it. Not a single Democrat voted for it.

You need to get it through your head that the American people did not give you a mandate to pass a massive amnesty bill. The American people want border security.

This week, CBS released a poll showing that now 51% of Americans support a border wall and the majority of Americans -- a whopping 63% -- believe that illegal immigrant should be detained and deported.

And yet, so many of your colleagues are now demanding that the Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) Agency be abolished.

The American people are demanding border security and immigration law enforcement and a number of your colleagues are now demanding open borders and lawlessness.

Every day that you allow the border to remain unsecure, more Americans are victimized. They are being killed my illegal alien murderers and drunk drivers, and thousands are dying of overdoses from drugs illegally trafficked across the border.

You want to talk about keeping families together? How about we focus on the American families who have been permanently split up by illegal alien criminals?

President Trump has already started border wall construction in California, Arizona, and New Mexico. Border Patrol is actively acquiring the border land in Texas so a wall can be built there as well.

The President is honoring his oath to defend the American people. The only question now is whether you will honor your oath.

You have a choice. You can either stand for border security or you can allow your inaction to protect the illegal alien criminals among us.

If you will not fully fund the border wall, then you will be removed from office. That is a promise.
