Justice Anthony Kennedy's retirement grants us a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to reshape this country's future. For the first time in over 80 years, we will have a Supreme Court that follows the Constitution, not one that tries to rewrite it.

This is a tremendous opportunity.

Already, though, some of your colleagues are talking about stalling or even blocking President Trump's nomination.

Jeff Flake, for example, has already promised to block all of Pres. Trump's judicial nominations in the Judiciary Committee until he relents on trade and his Cuba policy. Others, like Susan Collins and Lisa Murkowski, are staunchly pro-choice and considering voting against Trump's pro-life nominee.

Because John McCain is fighting a terminal brain tumor, one Republican 'no' vote can block an entire confirmation.

The obstructionist Democrats in both the House and Senate are promising to grind everything to a halt if President Trump so much as even nominates a replacement. Yes, that even includes shutting down the government and defaulting on our debt.

You cannot allow this to happen.

President Trump won the election. He laid out a list of potential Supreme Court candidates and the American people elected him. To obstruct him now would be unconscionable. To stall or even block his forthcoming nominee would be unacceptable.

Democrats are promising to obstruct in both the House and Senate. Their goal is to grind Congressional business to a halt to force you to abandon the Supreme Court and pressure spineless Republicans into abandoning Conservatism all together.

You need to fight against this with everything you've got. This is one battle we simply CANNOT afford to lose.\

You must do everything in your power to bust through this obstruction and see that a new Conservative Justice is added the Supreme Court bench.

If you allow this obstruction to work, if you allow your colleagues to stall or block the forthcoming nomination, you will have lost my support for life. I will do everything in my power to elect your next opponent. That's not a threat. That is a promise.

The future of the Supreme Court, the future of this country, is simply too important to let you or any of your colleagues surrender like this!
