Speaker Paul Ryan's office thought that they would be able to force the President into signing a heinous amnesty bill. They were so confident that they had started whipping up the votes.

On Friday morning, Trump did what none of them saw coming: he announced he would not sign the moderate "compromise" immigration bill as it was currently written.

Instead of ending the visa lottery, Ryan's plan allocated those slots to illegal aliens. When those illegals were processed, the visa lottery would return to normal. Instead of shutting down chain migration, Ryan's plan would have explicitly allowed amnestied illegal aliens to bring their family members into the country.

And while Ryan's plan would have given Trump $25 billion to build the border wall, future Congresses would be able to claw it back. And the illegal aliens would be able to stay on a pathway to citizenship.

Trump was right to smack this plan down. Conservatives are rushing to amend the bill before Ryan brings it up for a vote on Tuesday. Their changes would abolish the visa lottery, significantly reduce chain migration, and immediately reverse the amnesty portion of the bill if future Congresses try to end the border wall project. On top of that, their changes would permanently end the practice of catch-and-release at the border.

You need to go further than this. You must make sure that sanctuary cities are defunded and that Kate's Law reaches Pres. Trump's desk to punish illegal alien criminal repeat offenders. And under no circumstances can you allow "no-strings-attached amnesty" to make it into the final bill!

Paul Ryan has promised a vote on TUESDAY. We're out of time.

It is not enough to simply vote against Ryan's amnesty push. You need to use every tool at your disposal to stop it from passing!

President Trump was clear in what type of amnesty bill he would sign. And yet, the GOP leadership is trying to force him to back down.

If you allow Ryan's 'take-it or leave-it' bill to reach the White House, I will hold you personally responsible. You will be removed from office.

This fight is happening now. If you won't fight for the American people, I will replace you with someone who will!
