The First Republican has jumped ship and abandoned the Left's plan to force amnesty down the American people's throats. Rep. Jeff Denham (R-CA) announced that he would NOT sign onto a discharge petition to force the leadership to hold the votes.

There are at least 48 other GOP turncoats who are signed onto this amnesty plot. The Democrats only need 25 to force a vote.

Last week, Democrats announced that they had the numbers to force a vote on four different amnesty bills. At least 50 Republicans had publicly or privately agreed to sign onto the plan.

Within days of the announcement, one Republican has already backpedalled. Congressman Jeff Denham (R-CA) made the announcement that he would NOT sign onto the Democrats' discharge petition.

It hasn't even been a week and the Democrats' plan is already losing support.

They want to force a vote on four different amnesty bills. Under their plan, each would be debated and whichever receives the most votes would be sent on to the Senate.

It is important to not that none of the immigration bills would authorize a border wall and none of the bills would crack down on the visa lottery or chain migration.

President Trump offered you a fair compromise. This plan ignores all of that for clean amnesty instead.

Yet, these cowardly colleagues of yours aren't interesting in compromising. They want to take all of the leverage out of Trump's hands and force him to pass a clean amnesty bill.

You CANNOT allow this plan to move forward. If you do, then you will have abandoned the American people, your constituents.

By now, I am sure you have already been approached and asked to sign onto this discharge petition.

I am writing to warn you that would be political suicide.

If you sign onto this clean amnesty plan and prioritize illegal aliens over Americans, you will be removed from office. That's not a threat, by the way. That is a promise.

Pass President Trump's compromise bill. That includes ending chain migration, abolishing the visa lottery, and fully funding the border wall.
