President Trump has nominated a candidate to run the United Nations International Organization for Migration. The left is terrified because the nominee -- Ken Isaacs -- formerly was a VP for Samaritan's Purse, a charity dedicated to helping persecuted Christians around the world.

Under Obama, persecuted Christians were -- for all practical purposes -- ignored. They represented a fraction of a percent of all refugee admissions. Not only has Trump slashed the total number of refugees coming into the country, but he has changed the quota to make sure that persecuted Christians have a chance to come to America.

These policies are desperately needed at the UN. When Obama was implementing his unvetted refugee policy, he gave the UN tremendous power. Now that it is time for Trump to choose the person to head the UN International Organization for Migration, your Democrat colleagues are blocking the nominee. They know that if they stall for long enough, the chairmanship of this organization will rotate to another country.

This is happening across government. Hundreds of Trump's nominees are being blocked for no reason other than wanting to obstruct the President's agenda. And Mitch McConnell is letting it happen because he cares more about preserving the rules than he does about helping Trump implement his agenda.
