Ryan and McConnell held meetings through the night trying to battle back Conservative opposition to their surrender bill.

Now they're trying to claim victory. They saved all of the funding for Planned Parenthood and sanctuary cities, and are only going to allow Trump to build 33 miles of a border fence. The omnibus bill requires that it be a "fence" and bans any money from going to Trump's concrete and steel border wall prototypes.

Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell expected that they would be able to roll out their massive omnibus bill without opposition. Hundreds of thousands of Conservatives proved them wrong.

GOP leadership was forced to negotiate well into the night. Now, they are trying to claim victory even though they caved on nothing.

The omnibus still blocks all border wall funding. It provides funding for just 33 miles of new fencing. It literally prohibits the funds from being used to fund any of Trump's concrete border wall prototypes. This isn't conservatism, this is pathetic.

The omnibus also completely funds sanctuary cities. ICE just announced that many of the illegal aliens that were tipped off in Oakland of an upcoming ICE raid ended up escaping capture and then committing more crimes. Ryan and McConnell are going to keep sanctuary cities completely funded. This isn't conservatism, this is pathetic.

A few years ago, Congress put a bill onto President Obama's desk to defund Planned Parenthood. However, now that there is a President willing to sign it into law, the GOP is running scared. This new omnibus completely funds Planned Parenthood. This isn't conservatism, this is pathetic.

I need you to understand that none of this is good enough.

You need to hold the line and pass a spending bill that reflects what the American people voted for. This omnibus isn't it and you know it.

It isn't enough to just vote against it. You need to BLOCK it from moving forward. If that means shutting down the government, so be it!
