When Andrew McCabe was fired, he issued a press release trying to clear his name. But he inadvertently admitted that James Comey authorized him to leak to the press about the Clinton Foundation. Comey told Congress he never made such an authorization.

On May 3, 2017, James Comey appeared before the Senate Judiciary Committee and was asked a straight-forward question.

Chuck Grassley: "Have you ever authorized someone else at the FBI to be an anonymous source in news reports about the Trump investigation or the Clinton investigation?"

James Comey: "No."

We now know that this was a lie. James Comey lied to Congress under oath. That's called perjury.

You and your colleagues have the authority to make criminal perjury referrals. Under the law, a criminal referral delivered to the U.S. Attorney's office must be presented to a Grand Jury. There is no wiggle room for the DOJ at all.

Robert Mueller is waging his campaign against Trump and prosecuting anything and everything he finds. Paul Manafort is currently being prosecuted for incorrectly applying for a home mortgage. Other Trump allies were charged with lying to investigators, even though their actions were completely lawful.

And yet here we are with an open-and-shut case of perjury. Comey told your colleagues that he never authorized leaking and we now know that was a lie.

You need to subpoena him and force him to testify and answer for his crime. You need to charge James Comey with contempt and perjury. And then, you need to refer the case directly to the U.S. Attorney's office for prosecution.

For far too long, Obama officials have been allowed to lie to Congress with impunity. If you will not reassert your authority, I will replace you with someone who will!
