The United Nations is accusing President Trump of violating human rights.

Why? Because Trump has cut hundreds of millions of dollars from the United Nations. The most recent was $65 million cut from the UN's Palestinian refugee agency. Trump's cuts wouldn't have mattered, except for the fact that the Palestinian Authority spent $50 million on a new private jet...

These cuts are designed to starve the United Nations most corrupt agencies and compel the Palestinians and others to the negotiation table. Pierre Krahenbuhl is the Commissioner General of the UNRWA. He is accusing President Trump of violating Palestinians' 'fundamental rights' by cutting off aid charity. What a shameful attack.

But more importantly, why are your colleagues working behind the scenes to restore the UN's funding?

The Senate Appropriations Committee voted to narrowly restore funding to the UN's Framework Convention on Climate Change. Trump cut that funding and your colleagues voted to restore it. Senators Lamar Alexander and Susan Collins teamed up with Democrats to give the UN back the money that Obama had promised.

This is why the UN believes they can keep pushing us around. They know that they have a handful of Members of Congress willing to prop them up. They know that they can accuse the President of the United States of violating human rights and that your colleagues will back them up.

It is time to pull the plug. It is time to cut off American funding to the United Nations!

You need to pass an appropriations bill by the end of the month. You have the power to remove these poison-pill UN funding amendments.  If you let them remain in the final bill, there will be serious electoral consequences...

Instead, you need to focus on putting America First. Cut off UN funding and put that money back into America instead!
