Yesterday, Rod Rosenstein walked to the podium and announced the results of Robert Mueller's investigation into Russian election meddling. 13 Russians were charged with identity theft crimes stemming from their social media efforts.

The Russian "trolls" posted content online that was for and against Donald Trump. They planned and promoted a rally in New York City that got 10,000 anti-Trump liberals to show up to protest the President.

While outlying the crimes these Russians committed, Rosenstein emphasized that the Trump campaign wasn't involved in the conspiracy. The limit to their involvement was a Trump volunteer being tricked into giving the Russians campaign signs for one of their events.

Why is there a special prosecutor for this? These Russians will never actually be arrested or extradited to the US. This is just political theater. Why is Mueller still on the job?

We learned why just yesterday. In addition to indicting these Russian trolls, Robert Mueller's team also tacked on an additional charge against former Trump Campaign Chairman Paul Manafort. No, not for election crimes... They are adding a charge of bank fraud, alleging that Manafort improperly applied for his home's mortgage.

Mueller's mandate is to investigate Russian meddling and yet here he is, prosecuting a Trump advisor for how he set up his home mortgage...

The Mueller team also leaked to Bloomberg News yesterday that they have still not cleared Trump of obstruction of justice. Even though Trump did nothing wrong, and he had nothing to do with this Russian meddling, they want to prosecute him for firing James Comey.

This has gotten out of control...

Yesterday's indictments prove that the scope of the Russian meddling is easily investigated within the FBI and DOJ. There is no need for a Special Counsel and three different grand juries to indict Russian trolls.

The Mueller probe now has one goal: to take down the President and undo the 2016 election. The very agents Mueller hired have admitted that. They admitted to hatching an "insurance policy" in case Trump won.

You must pull the plug on this witch hunt. Rep. Ron DeSantis has an amendment that would pull funding from the Mueller probe. It would cut off funding entirely.

You MUST attach it to the upcoming OMNIBUS bill and put an end to this anti-Trump witch hunt for good!
