Last night, President Trump outlined his year of successes and offered an olive branch to Democrats to help fix America's problems. The Democratic Caucus spit in Trump's face. They aren't just anti-Trump. They are anti-American.

President Trump has delivered his demand to the GOP: invoke the nuclear option and start pushing through a conservative, pro-America agenda.

Mitch McConnell still wants to preserve the Senate rules, even if that means nothing gets accomplished. So pathetic...

Last night, President Trump presented his vision for America. He outlined his administration's successes and offered an olive branch to Democrats to fix the country's problems.

Your Democratic colleagues ignored the President's offer. Their behavior was atrocious.

The Congressional Black Caucus refused to applaud the fact that African American unemployment is at a record low. The Hispanic Caucus refused to applaud record low hispanic unemployment numbers. The entire Democratic caucus refused to stand and applaud for respecting the flag and national anthem and, in doing so, respect military veterans and fallen soldiers.

When President Trump offered to work hand in hand with Democrats, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi both glared back at him. Rep. Luis Gutierrez even stormed out of the State of the Union when Republicans began chanting "USA."

This is disgusting.

You have one job: to work on behalf of the American people. Their dreams are your dreams and their struggles are your struggles. But Democrats hit an all new low last night by actively refusing to applaud American progress.

These are the people who are blocking the pro-American agenda from passing.

It is time to invoke the nuclear option and take these obstructionists out of the equation entirely. This opportunity is far too precious to allow a minority of anti-American Democrats to stop legislation from reaching Pres. Trump's desk.

Restoring America is far more important than preserving the arcane Senate rules and anyone who puts the rules above the American people must be removed from office.

Make no mistake: the minute that Democrats retake the government, they will finish what Harry Reid started and invoke the nuclear option themselves. The only question is whether you will squander this time that we have or take full advantage of it...

Go nuclear and finally, start putting America first!
