President Trump just played the Democrat leadership like a fiddle. He offered to give amnesty to 1.8 million illegal aliens, with a promise to let them eventually become citizens. In return, all Trump asked for was fully appropriated funds for a border wall, an end to chain migration, and the abolition of the visa lottery. None of this is controversial. Not too long ago, Democrats supported all of these proposals.

Instead of taking the President's offer, Pelosi and Schumer spit in his face. Schumer called the President's offer anti-American and Pelosi called it "hateful."

Last week, President Trump made a pretty simple demand: if Democrats continue obstructing, you must invoke the nuclear option to take them out of the equation entirely.

The Democrats see this as a zero-sum game: They cannot win unless Trump loses. That is why even after Trump offered to give them more than what they wanted, they still rejected it. It doesn't matter what Trump agrees to. They will never allow him to build a wall.

Enough is enough. This is obstructionism simply for the sake of obstructionism.

They shut down the government for nothing. They tried to hurt the American people just to politically damage the President. They have absolutely no business holding up legislation like this.

Invoke the nuclear option, remove the Left's ability to block legislation simply to play politics, and finally get to work passing a Conservative, America-First agenda!

Anything less, and I will have no choice but to assume you support this obstructionism and I will vote accordingly...
