There is a story coming out of Michigan that is just mind blowing. Joey Nelson, a US Marine, has been arrested and charged with a number of felonies -- including "assault with intent to murder" -- because he opened fire on an armed home invader who started indiscriminately firing into the home.

It's a classic case of self defense, yet police working the case decided to throw the book at Nelson.
