It has been two and a half years since Kate Steinle was gunned down on a San Francisco pier by a 5-time deported illegal alien. Her killer is now on trial and the jury just ended its second day of deliberations. There are actually jurors who want this murderer to get off.

News also broke out of San Francisco. District Judge William H. Orrick -- an Obama appointee -- permanently blocked President Trump from going after sanctuary city funding. You see, after cities like San Francisco release illegal alien killers back onto the streets to block the Federal government's deportation efforts, they turn around and demand Federal law enforcement grants.

It has been 150 days since Kate's Law passed the House. For half a year, it has collected dust on Mitch McConnell's desk.

This is unacceptable. You need to do everything in your power to get this to President Trump's desk. That includes attaching Kate's Law to one of the must-pass spending bills you are currently debating.

Frankly, I don't care how you do it. You need to finish this.

Right now, it probably looks like President Trump is standing alone on this issue, going up against a hostile judiciary and an apathetic legislature. But he isn't alone.
