James Comey lied to you and your colleagues under oath.

On October 1, 2016, Texas Congressman John Ratcliffe began his line of questioning with a very simple and straight-forward question for Mr. Comey.

Ratcliffe: "Director, did you make the decision not to recommend criminal charges related to classified information before or after Hillary Clinton was interviewed by the FBI on July the 2nd?"

Comey: "After."

Rep. Ratcliffe then proceeded to pepper Comey with questions, with the former-Director repeating again that he only decided to exonerate Hillary Clinton after she was interviewed.

We know that to be a lie. Two months ago, Senators Chuck Grassley and Lindsey Graham announced that they had uncovered evidence proving that James Comey was writing memos about Hillary Clinton's innocence months before she was ever interviewed. In fact, he was drafting ways to exonerate her as early as April, before 17 key witnesses were interviewed by the FBI and long before the case was closed.

Yesterday, the FBI accidentally confirmed this. They released a document titled "Drafts of Director Comey's July 5 2016 Statement Regarding Email Server Investigation." Even though the memos explicitly said the information wasn't classified, the entire FBI record is redacted... Except for the datestamp.

Sure enough, Comey was drafting his exoneration statement on May 2, two whole months before Clinton was ever even interviewed.

I have never seen a more straight-forward perjury charge in my entire life. James Comey was asked point-blank when he decided not to recommend charges and he lied. That is a crime.

I demand that you charge him with Contempt of Congress. A Contempt of Congress charge would refer the case directly to a grand jury and stop his alies in the DOJ and FBI from defending him. Then, Comey will have a clear choice: go down for his crime or turn witness against the Clintons and other Obama officials.

This is the path to taking all of the Obama-era criminals down. Both Trey Gowdy and Chuck Grassley are moving to re-open this investigation. I am demanding that you join them. James Comey deserves to face the same justice that he worked tirelessly to save Hillary Clinton from. You MUST see that justice is done!
