Before anything was even known about how or why the Las Vegas shooter decided to kill 59 people and injure hundreds more, some of your colleagues were already demanding new gun control bills.

Even though the shooter passed all of his background checks, gun control advocates in Congress demanded a vote on universal background checks.

Even though we had no idea what guns the shooter used, some of your colleagues once again demanded a vote on a new firearm ban.

None of the gun control bills introduced would have stopped this shooting, which is what we hear every single time one of these tragedies occur. This isn't about stopping massacres. The anti-gun movement is only interested in moving forward with their gun control agenda.
