Congress is voting on Tuesday on the  Pain-Capable Unborn Child Protection Act. This is the legislation that would outlaw most abortions after the 20th week of pregnancy.

After 20-weeks, many doctors and scientists agree that unborn children start to feel painful stimuli.

If a surgeon is performing surgery on a 20-week old baby in the uterus, he or she must administer anesthesia in order for the surgery to be ethical. But the law allows same surgeon to perform an abortion and literally rip the baby limb from limb to dismember it.

How does this make any sense?

Since Roe v Wade, science has advanced. Today, children can be born at 21, 22, or 23 weeks and grow up to live full lives. Yet, the law currently allows these viable children to be murdered in the womb for any reason.

The Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act includes exemptions for cases of rape, incest, and when the mother's life is in danger.

But if a child can be born and given the chance to survive, he or she deserves that opportunity. Period.

Right now, the law allows for these children to be murdered. Every year, more than 10,000 children are aborted after the 20th week. That comes out to 27 a day who are denied the chance to survive.

You must pass the Pain Capable Unborn Child Protection Act and protect the unborn!

Every day that you and your colleagues stall is another 27 viable children that are murdered. This is unacceptable!

Don't believe the propaganda. This legislation deals with just 1% of abortions, but it happens to be the 1% that stand the best chance of surviving outside the womb!
