Enough is enough. We are almost a full year into the Trump Presidency and Congress has done nothing so far to help secure the border. Instead, you and your colleagues seem to be doing the opposite and working on giving amnesty to illegal aliens.

Were you even paying attention last year? Honestly, how could anyone possibly think that the mandate that emerged from the 2016 election was to keep the border open and perpetuate Obama's amnesty programs?

You have one mandate: build the wall, secure the border, and give the President the money he needs to enforce our immigration laws.

For some reason, many of your colleagues don't understand this. They think that they can get away with supporting the wall in public and then privately plotting to block it behind closed doors.

I am here to tell you that this is not going to work out for you. Scheming against the wall is political suicide.

The fiscal year ends at the end of the month. If the border wall is not funded, it will not get built next year. That's simply a fact. The GOP has been kicking the can down the road for an entire year. They promised full funding this September, and now they're trying to kick the can to next year. That means, it would not be built until 2019 at the earliest. Unacceptable.

We the People are not stupid. Frankly, I don't care what the Chamber of Commerce and other interests are telling you to do. You answer to us, not them, and we're the ones who vote in every election (primaries included).

If the wall is not built, I will hold you personally accountable and will absolutely vote accordingly!
