He is the Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee. He gets to decide whether pieces of legislation get a hearing in his committee. The fact that he has co-sponsored the bill means a hearing is coming.

And 210 co-sponsors means that we are just EIGHT votes away from passing.

The Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act just gained its 210th sponsor/co-sponsor. It is now eight votes away from passing the House.

This legislation would overhaul the country's patchwork concealed carry reciprocity system and ensure that if someone is licensed to bear arms in one state, they are allowed to carry in all 50 states.

The 2nd Amendment's right to bear arms isn't just limited to someone's home state. It applies nationwide, just like the right to pray is protected across the country.

But the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act goes one step further. If someone lives in a state that doesn't believe in the right to bear arms, he or she would be able to get a non-resident concealed carry permit from a state like Utah and use that to carry nationwide... including in their home state.
