The President's immigration agenda is moving forward.

The House Appropriations Committee has approved funding that Trump needs to get started on the wall, Speaker Paul Ryan has come out in support of the wall, and a new immigration bill was unveiled today in the Oval Office to reform our immigration system to put America's interests first.

That means moving to a merit system so that the immigrants who come to the United States have unique skillsets that won't displace hard-working Americans and making sure that people who come here don't immediately go on welfare.

You need to support these agenda items.

Border crossings are already down 70% this year and that is before the wall has even been built. The Wall will reduce illegal immigration to just a trckle. The RAISE Act, which President Trump and Senators Cotton and Perdue have introduced, would cut America's legal immigration quota in half and prioritize skilled immigrants. You need to pass both.

This week, Paul Ryan released a video in which he declared his support for building the wall. But at this point, we've had enough talk. We need action.

You need to use every tool at your disposal to make sure that these measures pass and are fully funded. Some of your liberal colleagues are hoping to force you to "compromise" by also passing their amnesty initiatives.

Don't. You. Dare.

For once, put America first! Pass these immigration bills and help President Trump reform our immigration system so that the people we let into the country are a net-positive and not a drain on the system!
