In recent years, Lois Lerner has become synonymous with 'pleading the fifth.' Every time Congress tried to ask her a question about her involvement in the weaponization of the IRS, she pled the fifth and refused to incriminate herself.

With Lerner and her associates refusing to answer questions, the Obama Justice Department closed the case and declared she wouldn't be prosecuted.

Today, however, some of your colleagues are pressuring the leadership in the House and Senate to re-open the Lois Lerner investigation.

Lois Lerner is also the defendent in a civil lawsuit and testified during a recorded deposition. The testimony she gave is apparently so damaging that the Federal Judge hearing the case has ordered the recordings be kept confidential.

US District Judge Michael Barrett ruled that the testimony Lerner gave is so damaging that its public relese could lead to threats on her life. So, he is keeping what she said secret.

Think about this for a second. A government official and subject of a criminal probe has refused to answer questions for years. This Judge is arguing that the American people shouldn't be allowed to hear what she said for fear that they'll try to kill her once they learn what she did.

Unlike the phony Russia investigation, the IRS scandal has real evidence that the Obama administration chose to ignore.

Lois Lerner refused to testify before Congress. She pled the fifth each time. Now that real testimony exists, it is being locked down.
