The Republicans have revealed their Obamacare repeal and replace bill and it includes a provision to defund Planned Parenthood for at least one year, as long as the organization provides abortions.

Just this week, he notified the head of the organization and gave them the ultimatum. Either drop their abortion side of their business or lose more than $500 million in federal funding.

President Trump promised us that he would do this. He got the Republicans in Congress to include the defunding provision in the Obamacare repeal bill. Now it is our turn to make sure that the provision survives the legislation's amendment process!

Every year, Planned Parenthood received $500+ million of taxpayer money. This is unacceptable.

It has long been US law that taxpayer money cannot be funneled to abortion services. Because funding is fungible, any money going to an abortion provider props up their abortion side of the business.

If Planned Parenthood receives half a billion dollars for non-abortion services, they are able to redirect their internal funding to the abortionists. That is unacceptable.

If a woman's decision to abort is truly a decision limited to her and her doctor, then the American taxpayers have no business picking up the bill.

Many people in the abortion lobby will try to convince you to oppose this defunding provision. They will pull out all the stops and pay lobbyists millions of dollars to try to pull you into their camp.

But you don't represent the abortion lobby. You represent your constituents and We the People demand that you defund Planned Parenthood and any other organization that provides abortion services.

President Trump has informed Planned Parenthood that their funding will disappear if they continue to provide abortions. For the first time in a long time, we have a Pro-Life leader fulfilling a Pro-Life campaign promise.
