Fact: Activist Judges + GOP Cowards Bring Thousands of Unvetted Refugees Into US

Since Trump took office, more than 6,200 refugees have been brought into the country. The vast majority of these have come in after the 9th Circuit activist judges decided to intervene and reinstate Obama's failed refugee policies.

Now, 70% of all refugees are coming from the countries of concern that Trump listed in his executive order. This doesn't include the 1,250+ "inadmissible" refugees that Obama had previously agreed to take in from Australia.

Enough is enough.

The entire GOP leadership voted to shut this refugee program down. They all voted to implement extreme vetting. Now that they have the votes, they're running away from their promises.

Over the past year and a half, you and your colleagues have repeatedly taken a stand against the dangers of unvetted refugee admissions.

Right now, there are 1,250+ Middle Eastern refugees sitting on islands off the Australian coast that have been turned away because the Australian government deemed them "inadmissible."

They went through the vetting process and realized that these refugees either posed a security threat or would be a drain on the welfare system. Now, there are Obama holdovers on the ground processing their expeditied refugee applications.

There have been 6,200 refugees brought into the country since Trump took office. The vast majority came in after the activist judges on the 9th Circuit blocked Pres. Trump's refugee order and most are coming from the Middle East 'countries of concern.'

You and your colleagues spent the last year and a half arguing that a refugee pause was necessary. HR 4038 passed the House with a veto-proof super majority. Even Chuck Schumer argued at the time that a refugee pause might be necessary.

Now that you and your colleagues have the votes to pass it and a President willing to sign it, HR 4038 has disappeared from the legislative calendar entirely.

This is unacceptable. I blame the activist judges on the 9th Circuit for the mess we're in.

But I also blame YOU for staying on the sidelines and doing nothing.

There is simply too much at stake to allow Obama's policy of unvetted refugee admissions to stay in place.

You have the power to intervene and shut this down. You have the votes to pass it. And you have a President eager to sign it.

Either honor your oath to protect the American people or pack your bags.
