Congress is voting on Monday to repeal an Obama administration regulation that forces states to subsidize Planned Parenthood.

Under the Congressional Review Act, Congress has 60 days to repeal any overbearing regulation. This is the LAST WEEK that they can roll back the Obama administration's attempts to keep Planned Parenthood funded.

Under the Congressional Review Act, you and your colleagues have the authority to repeal any executive branch regulation within 60-days of its finalization.

Monday marks the 60th day since the Obama administration finalized a pro-abortion regulation (81 FR 91852). In mid-December, the administration announced that states would be required to continue funding Planned Parenthood and other abortion providers. This was done in an attempt to stop states from defunding the organizations.

At least 14 states were planning or implementing legislation to cut off funding from abortion providers. With the stroke of a pen, Barack Obama ended all of that. He reclassified abortion providers as essential healthcare services and prohibited states from withholding grant money.

Monday, you are tentatively scheduled to hold a vote on repealing this Obama-era regulation. The pro-abortion lobby will do everything it can to stop this vote from moving forward.

I am writing to implore you to vote to repeal it.

Every year, Planned Parenthood spends millions of dollars lobbying politicians in Washington DC. Then, the abortion provider receives millions of dollars from the treasury to further its pro-abortion mission.

This is unacceptable.

At least 14 states were in the process of defunding Planned Parenthood when Obama rolled out this regulation. 81 FR 91852 put an end to all of these efforts.

It is not enough to promise to vote to repeal this regulation. You must do everything in your power to ensure that the vote takes place before the 60-day window expires.

Repeal this regulation and allow states to make their own decisions with regard to healthcare funding!
