John Kerry is making one more trip abroad before he is dragged out of the State Department a week from now. He is traveling to France and meeting with the minds behind the United Nation's latest resolution against Israel.

They are calling this meeting a "conference" on Middle East "peace." The reality is they are meeting to finish what they started and go after Israel one more time before Trump takes over.

The only reason any of this is possible is because YOU pay for 1/4 of all of the UN's operating costs. You give them $3 billion a year.

For the past eight years, President Obama has weaponized the United Nations.

Where he failed to pass his domestic agenda, he turned to the UN to bypass Congress on issues like gun control and climate change.

Every year, the American taxpayers deliver more than $3 billion to the United Nations. That doesn't include the many UN-related programs that we help finance as well.

What do we have to show for it?

On the issue of the UN Climate Treaty, the United Nations actually designed this proposal to circumvent Congress' Constitutional power to ratify treaties. When an international body starts to deliberately try to bypass the United States Constitution, it is time to cut ties.

This weekend, John Kerry is meeting in Paris to discuss "Middle East peace." What they're really discussing is a last-ditch effort to impose a solution on Israel. Whatever framework emerges from this rigged Conference, it will be up to Obama to veto at the UN.

Every time you are on the ballot, you promise to go after wasteful spending. I can't think of anything more wasteful than the $3+ billion we give to the UN on an annual basis.

When the UN threatened to add Saudi Arabia to a human rights violation list, the Saudis threatened to pull their funding from the United Nations. Saudi Arabia only contributes a few million dollars each year, but the prospect of losing that money was enough to force the UN to back down.

The United States funds nearly one-quarter of the UN's entire operating budget. We have tremendous power here that we are not using.

I am writing to you to urge you to get behind the measure that was just introduced by Sen. Ted Cruz and Rep. Louie Gohmert to defund the United Nations. We can't afford to wait any longer...
