Barack Obama just appointed a cop killer's attorney to the US Commission on Civil Rights.

In 2014, the Senate soundly rejected Obama's nomination of Debo Adegbile to be Assistant Attorney General. Now, Pres. Obama has bypassed Congress and placed him in an even larger position and given him a term of 6-years.

Police officers see this as punishment for them supporting Donald Trump. This cop killer's attorney will now judge police officers' actions for the next six years.

There is still time to stop this but Congress will only act if you demand that they prioritize this!

In 2014, Harry Reid used the "nuclear option" to lower the threshold for passage in the Senate from 60 votes to 51 votes for non-Supreme Court nominees.

The first Obama nominee to be rejected in the post-nuclear Senate was Debo Adegbile. This is the man who represented Mumia Abu-Jamal, a man convicted of shooting and killing a Philadelphia police officer in cold blood.

For years, Adegbile has tried to get his cop killer client released from prison on account of the jury being biased.

Obama nominated Debo Adegbile to be Assistant Attorney General and in charge of the DOJ's Civil Rights division. The Senate voted him down 47-52.

Just yesterday, Barack Obama decided to bypass Congress and place Debo Adegbile onto the US Commission on Civil Rights, giving him a 6-year term.

Never before has a lame-duck President bypassed Congress to give a cop killer's attorney the power to go after police officers...

This is nothing but a parting shot targeting American law enforcement. The President of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Fraternal Order of Police calls this appointment a "kick in the teeth."

I am writing to you because I know that you have the power to step in and fight this. I am writing to you to demand that you make this a priority.

Hillary Clinton ran on a message that police officers were implicitly biased. She lost. The American people rejected it. President Obama cannot be allowed to appoint this man to this position!

I don't care what it takes... I don't care how much political capital you need to give up for this... You MUST stop this from going through!
