Angel Gilberto Garcia-Avalos is a five-time deported illegal alien.

When he was caught after re-entering the country a fifth time, he was ultimately released from a California county jail because of the state's sanctuary city policy.

After being released, he went on to start a fire in the Sequioa National Forest, causing $61 million in damages and destroying trees that were 2,000 years old.

After serving his sentence for starting the fire, the Obama administration will deport him again. He will certainly re-enter the country a sixth time.

But don't worry... this illegal alien is being forced to repay the damages he's caused. Every month, he will be forced to pay the Federal government $25. It will take him 200,000+ years to repay the damage he caused. What a joke...

You had the opportunity to stop crimes like this. Earlier this year, you had the opportunity to pass both Kate's Law and Sarah's Law. You chose not to.

Sarah's Law would have forced the Federal goverment to take possession of Angel Gilberto Garcia-Avalos, which would have stopped him from being release from the county jail.

Kate's Law would have applied a 5 year mandatory minimum sentence for him illegally re-entering the country, thus ensuring that he would not be allowed to re-enter again.

These are common-sense bills.
