Like clockwork, the Democrats and liberal Republicans are using the weekend's terror attacks to push their gun control agenda.

It makes no difference that the terrorists used knives and bombs, not guns... It makes no difference that neither terrorist was formally on the government's watch list...

They openly admit that the No Fly, No Buy bill wouldn't have stopped this attack, but they believe it will stop the next one.

That is the same exact line of reasoning they put forward after the Orlando attack...

The No Fly, No Buy bill is the biggest threat to our justice system and our constitutional rights that has ever come before Congress.

Instead of forcing the government to prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt before suspending someone's constitutional rights, this legislation would allow for disarmament based on nothing but reasonable suspicion. If law enforcement doesn't have enough evidence to charge someone with a terrorism crime, why on earth should the government have the right to treat them as if they've already been convicted?

Every year, innocent people are added to the No Fly List. Elementary school children have been put on the list, along with Congressmen.

There are plenty of mechanisms that allow the government to disarm bonafide terrorists. Going after my 2nd and 5th Amendment rights is unacceptable!

In the coming days, you will be asked to vote in favor of a "compromise" gun control bill. I am writing to make sure you understand that there are no "compromises" when it comes to Constitutional rights!
