Obama brought more Syrian refugees into the country in April than in any previous month. 451 refugees resettled and only ONE of them is a Christian.

This year, out of the 1,835+ that have been resettled, Obama let in just TEN Christians.

Shameful.

Syrian Christians and other religious minorities are victims of genocide. ISIS is literally trying to wipe their faith off the earth.

Instead of allowing Obama to bring terrorists into the country as "refugees," the Religious Persecution Relief Act would force the President to prioritize Christians and other minority genocide victims for resettlement.

Democrats are already promising to fight the bill. They want to bring even more terrorists and terror sympathizers into the country.

The Obama administration is already bringing Syrian refugees here. They have promised to admit tens of thousands of refugees every year while cutting the vetting process from two years down to three months. This is a recipe for disaster.

In the month of April, Obama brought in more Syrian refugees than in any month prior. Only ONE of them is a Christian.

We're more than halfway through the fiscal year and out of the 1,800+ Syrians that Obama brought in, just TEN of them were Christians.

This is pathetic.

Earlier this Spring, you and your colleagues declared that ISIS was committing genocide. The Obama administration followed suit.

The FBI Director has already admitted that because Syria is a failed state and it is impossible to fully verify refugees' identities. Considering that ISIS has been caught using the refugee crisis to sneak fighters into the West, it is absolutely imperative that we make sure we aren't opening our doors to people who want to do us harm or those who sympathize with our enemies.

The Religious Persecution Relief Act of 2016 does just that. It forces the Obama administration to prioritize Syrian Christians and minorities for refugee resettlement here in the United States.

You cannot, in good conscience, declare that ISIS is committing genocide against Christians and minorities and still allow Obama to ignore the plight of these victims.

Barely any of the refugees that Obama is letting in are bonafide victims.
