Sgt. Charled Martland represents the best of us. He spent 11 years in the Army defending his country, joined the Special Forces and became a Green Beret, and received not one, but TWO Bronze Stars, one of which was for Valor.

When confronted by pure evil in Afghanistan, this man chose to defend the innocent. A mother came up to Martland and begged him to stop the local police commander from kidnapping and raping her son. When Martland confronted the police officer, the Afghan admitted to everything, laughed in Martland's face, and dared him to do something about it.

Sgt. Martland "pushed" and "shoved" the confessed child rapist.

Now, Obama is using this incident as a reason to kick this distinguished soldier out of the Army.

The Pentagon has until May 1st to issue a ruling on Martland's appeal. Either they will reinstate him, or they will kick him to the curb.

That the Obama administration would even consider siding with a child rapist over a distinguished hero is deplorable.

You are out of time. You must use every parliamentary maneuver - including a discharge petition - at your disposal to force a full floor vote on House Resolution 451 to reinstate Martland before it's too late!
