Another Veteran Commits Suicide Because of the VA!

We just learned that last year, an Iraq War Veteran laid down on the train tracks and committed suicide because when he called the VA suicide hotline, he was sent to voicemail. The VA finally called back but only after the police discovered the body.

This is just one of many stories and the fact of the matter is that veterans are still needlessly dying.

They deserve better than this. We owe them better than this.

They answered the call to defend us. I beg you, pleas take the time to FaxBlast Congress and DEMAND they fire the VA Secretary and all those involved in these horrible deaths.

Veterans are still dying. The changes you and your colleagues implemented were not enough. No one has been fired and the few people who faced demotions actually have won their jobs back on appeal.

I weep for the plight of our veterans. I literally cried when I read how this man felt so hopeless that he laid down on the train tracks and waited for a train to take his life.

We owe our veterans better than this. When President Obama nominated the CEO of Procter and Gamble, I had high hopes that a person with private sector experience would be able to cut through the red tape and fix the bureaucracy. He has failed.

It doesn’t have to be like this. These men and women fought for us and now that they are suffering from the physical and mental wounds of that service, the VA is nowhere to be found.

VA Secretary McDonald needs to be replaced. End of story. When veteran are jumping in front of trains because they can’t even get through to the VA suicide hotline… enough is enough!

Veterans are still needlessly dying. You MUST replace him with someone who will actually do what needs to be done. Our vets deserve better -- they've earned better -- and if you won't give it to them, I'll replace you with someone who will!
