Danger: Congress Moving to Increase the Gas Tax!

Obama has announced he's raising gas taxes by 25¢. This is on top of the plan Congress has to increase the Federal tax by over 16¢/gallon. Tack on the new State and Municipal taxes that would surely follow and you're looking at close to an additional $1 in taxes per gallon.

Unacceptable!

Don't let Democrats and the RINOs impose this tax on the American people! FaxBlast them and DEMAND they cease and desist all plans to raise the gas tax! If they want to push it through anyway, then we vote them out!

Congress is gearing up to pass a new tax. Barack Obama alone has advocated adding new taxes to fund "green initiatives." When all the new taxes are factored in, it's not impossible to imagine a world where we're paying $1 in new taxes per gallon!

The American people and the American economy cannot afford this new tax. What do you think will happen to the economy if you double the gasoline tax? That is what Sen. Carper and others are pushing for.

What do you think will happen to the prices of goods when it becomes significantly more expensive to transport them to market?

The economy is hanging on by a thread as it is. We finally see oil dipping below $30/barrel and, like clockwork, the tax-and-spenders see their chance to raise taxes yet again.

I really mean it… Are you insane?

Do you realize that forcing a new tax down Americans’ throats will have catastrophic consequences?

Do you understand that this new tax will increase the cost of practically everything? (67% of all freight is shipped by truck)

I really want you to answer these questions and respond to me, because if you don’t fully grasp the consequences of raising the gasoline tax, then you are not fit to represent ANYONE!

I know you don’t have to feel the effects of your policies and your votes very often. You voted to give yourself a transportation allowance. You are stuck in the Washington DC bubble. But I swear, if you vote for this tax, I will vote you out of office and then you’ll experience how expensive gas is while you drive yourself to job interviews!
