As a legislator, your oath is to the American people and to the Constitution. When you are assigned to investigatory select committees, you are expected to be objective and pursue the truth.

A few weeks ago, John Boehner set up a Select Committee to investigate Planned Parenthood and other large abortion providers.

Just yesterday, Nancy Pelosi got around to announcing which Democrats would be on the committee. The six will be Reps. Jan Schakowsky (IL), Jerrold Nadler (NY), Diana DeGette (CO), Jackie Speier (CA), Suzan DelBene (WA) and Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ).

Every single one of them has received campaign donations from Planned Parenthood.

How can they possibly be expected to investigate one of their own campaign donors?

Make no mistake, every single dollar they received has string attached and when Planned Parenthood executives come before the committee, you can expect them to start calling in those favors and pulling those strings.

The House rules allow for committee members to be removed from their assignments when a clear conflict of interest has been discovered. In the last two election cycles (2012 and 2014), these six legislators have received almost $40,000 in donations from Planned Parenthood. Last year alone, Rep Suzan DelBene (WA) received $9,732 from the abortion organization.

How can they be objective? How can they possibly investigate one of their own campaign donors?

They must be removed from this committee assignment immediately!
