Barack Obama just spit in the face of the military and our soldier's families by vetoing the National Defense Authorization Act.

His reasoning? He didn't like that Congress appropriated more money for defense and believes that he should get more money for his domestic programs as well, like funding Planned Parenthood.

The President has become a national disgrace. He would literally take away military families' paychecks in order to gain leverage to further his agenda. It's despicable.

The votes are there to override Obama's veto, but it is going to be close.

What the President just did is shameful. He vetoed the 2016 National Defense Authorization Act.

With a single stroke of the pen, he took this nation's military and military families hostage. All to further his own domestic agenda.

President Obama doesn't like that Congress made an exception to mandatory spending caps and added $38 Billion to a 'war fund.' God forbid the United States be economically prepared in case we're attacked...

The truth is that President Obama vetoed the bill because he believes that if the military gets an exception to the caps, then his domestic spending programs, like the Federal funding of Planned Parenthood, should as well.

Meanwhile, our soldier's families don't know whether their next paycheck will even come.

This is a new low, even for President Obama. Holding our military and military families hostage to further a political agenda is just despicable.

The 2016 NDAA passed with bipartisan support. There should be enough votes to override the President's veto.

But Democrat leadership is actually trying to convince their party to sustain the President's veto. That’s what the Democrat Party has become. They are more interesting in protecting Barack Obama’s legacy than ensuring that a soldier’s wife and kids have enough money to put food on their table.

You MUST vote to override Obama's veto! If you choose to protect his legacy over funding our military, then I will stop at nothing to remove you from office!
