The Obama administration blinked. They delayed their decision to discharge Sgt. Charles Martland.

This is not a time to rest on our laurels. Now is the time for one final push to get this American hero reinstated.

Sgt. Charles Martland is an American hero. He spent 11 years in the Army, became a Green Beret, and received 2 Bronze Stars.

The Obama administration and the Pentagon are trying to force him out of the Army because he shoved an Afghan police officer who admitted to kidnapping a small child, chaining him to a bed, and raping him for 10 days.

You must force leadership to hold a floor vote on House Resolution 451. This resolution has 4 major points:

“(1) Members of the United States Armed Forces should not be punished for standing up to child rapists;

(2) Putting the interests of Afghan rapists ahead of American war heroes is a national disgrace;

(3) The Americans who should be punished are those who created and condone the immoral and reprehensible policy that encourages members of the Armed Forces to ignore child rape; and

(4) The Secretary of Defense should immediately order the reinstatement of Sergeant First Class Charles Martland as a member of the Army.”

There is nothing controversial about this. The administration doesn't want this resolution to see the light of day.

Sgt. Martland isn't the only one who has been punished for standing up to child rapists and unless you pass this resolution, he certainly won't be the last.

I need to know where you stand on this. I need to see you rise up and defend this man. This might not be high on your priority list, but it is high on mine and important to your constituents.
