Did you listen to Obama's press conference and response to the Umpqua shooting?

He chastized you and your colleagues for not implementing his policy proposals.

But we know for a fact that the shooter obtained his guns legally (including passing background checks) and only shot his pistol during the shooting. So the normal proposals for universal background checks and assault weapons bans would have done NOTHING to stop this tragedy.

The Left knows this. They know that they're losing the debate because their policy proposals wouldn't do a thing.

So, Obama is going for the Hail Mary pass. He is calling for confiscations.

He brought up the Australian solution, which was to confiscate firearms and pay gun owners pennies on the dollar. That is his policy proposal.

Unfortunately, Obama has already been hard at work trying to confiscate Americans' firearms. The VA has been taking guns away from our veterans without due process. The Social Security Administration is implementing the same programs to disarm elderly Americans.

It has to stop and you have to be the one to stop this!
