Obama Just Seized More Power for Himself

Across the board, this President has seized more power than any President before. Whether it is unconstitutionally renaming a mountain to remove a Republican President's name or joining the UN Arms Trade Treaty without a Congressional vote, President Obama thinks he is untouchable.

And Congress has allowed him to take this power. They make great speeches to get elected, but then they do absolutely nothing to stop this lawlessness.

As an American citizen, you have a duty to stand up when you see our Constitution being violated. The price of liberty is eternal vigilance. If you won't demand that King Obama be stopped, who will?

Last week, President Obama unilaterally renamed Mt. McKinley to Denali. Regardless of whether this was a good decision, the President had no right to do this. The mountain was named through an Act of Congress and only Congress can change its name.

Ultimately, the mountain name change isn't the problem here. The problem is that Obama has been walking all over you since he took office and you and your colleagues are apparently too spineless to put a stop to it. Every time he takes more power away from you, you ultimately say 'it's not worth fighting' and you let him do what he wants.

How many times will Obama have to legislate from the oval office before you stand up and defend the Constitution?

In a test vote, the Senate refused to ratify the UN Arms Trade Treaty back in 2013. So why on earth were Obama administration officials in Cancun, Mexico this past week attending a UN Arms Treaty conference and voting to give up veto power against international gun control?

The law says that it is illegal for the Federal Government to create a registry of gun owners, so Obama has chosen to outsource it to the United Nations.

Across the board, this President is breaking the law and it is your fault. You gave inch after inch and Obama took mile after mile.

This isn't about a mountain or about stopping UN gun control. This is about having you and your colleagues defend your legislative authority. For goodness sake, you're letting Obama walk all over you.

We are a country built on a system of checks and balances. If you are too afraid to reclaim your power from this lawless President, I will have no choice but to replace you with someone who will!
