Finally: Congress Moves to Defund Sanctuary Cities

Every week, we learn of another case where an illegal alien -- most of the time with multiple felonies and deportations -- murders an innocent American. Democrats have allowed these crimes to happen because they refuse to prosecute these illegals.

There are "sanctuary cities" all across the country (run by democrats) that simply refuse to turn over illegal aliens to federal immigration officials. Now, Congress has moved to withhold Federal grants from all sanctuary cities. A vote on this measure could come as early as today.

Don't let Kate Steinle's murder become nothing but a memory. Raise your voice now and DEMAND action to prevent these tragedies from happening again!

Since Kate Steinle's murder in San Francisco, there have been more than a half dozen other cases of illegal aliens committing horrible crimes against American citizens.

A woman was shot in her bed on Fourth of July in Boston by a pair of illegal aliens. They were deported multiple times.

An illegal alien high on drugs got behind the wheel in Arizona and crashed into a car, sending a 2-year old and 5-year old to the hospital with severe lacerations, but not before he ran from the scene and left these children to die on the side of the road. This man had been deported 6 times.

Another illegal alien just pleaded guilty in Florida to kidnapping and raping a 13-year old girl.

Open border advocates like to brush these aside as nothing but random occurances. But they are not.

All around the country, "sanctuary cities" protect these violent illegal aliens from deportation. From San Francisco all the way to Boston, it is open season for illegal aliens to prey on American citizens.

In the coming days, you will be asked to vote on the 2016 Homeland Security Appropriations bill. This bill contains an amendment that hits sanctuary cities where it hurts: federal funding.

All sanctuary cities would lose law enforcement, homeland security, and even FEMA funding if they refuse to cooperate with Federal immigration agents.

It would be insanse for San Francisco -- which sits on the San Andreas Fault -- to give up FEMA funding so they can protect illegal aliens.

This might sound harsh, but it is the only way to dismantle these deadly sanctuary cities. We can't change the past, but we can make sure that no one suffers the same fate as Kate Steinle ever again. You MUST vote for this legislation!
