Innocent Army Officer Imprisoned for Just Doing His Job

Army First Lieutenant Clint Lorance never should have seen the inside of a prison cell. He followed the rules of engagement and ordered his men to open fire on a group of men barreling towards them on a motorcycle.

Even though it was completely reasonable for the Lieutenant to see this as a threat, he was ultimately court martialed and sentenced to TWENTY years in prison. Now, he is in the same prison as the Fort Hood shooter.

Here’s the problem: new evidence suggests that the men actually WERE connected to terrorist groups and that the Army actually withheld this evidence! However, the Army reviewed Lorance’s case and completely disregarded this new evidence.

Clint Lorance deserves to receive clemency and it is up to brave patriots like YOU to demand it!

Army First Lieutenant Clint Lorance is currently serving a 19-year prison term in Leavenworth for ordering his platoon to open fire on three motorcyclists barreling towards them.

Lorance was only in charge of his platoon for a few days. But he made a promise to his men that he would get them home safe.

The Army didn’t see it that way. When no weapons were found on the two dead motorcyclists, the Army concluded that Lorance had killed two innocent Afghans.

Here’s the problem. It turns out that the biometric evidence proves that these motorcyclists DID have ties to known terrorists. Additionally, it appears that the Army knew this and withheld this evidence during Lorance’s trial.

That is deplorable! If the Army deliberately withheld this evidence, then Lt. Lorance should be released immediately!

The Army recently reviewed Lt. Clint Lorance’s case and completely disregarded this new evidence. Instead, they reduced his sentence by one year because of post-trial delays. This hero shouldn’t be serving a 20-year sentence in Leavenworth for trying to protect his men. And he certainly shouldn’t stay behind bars if the government deliberately withheld evidence proving the motorcyclists’ connections to terrorism!

You need to exhaust all of your resources and push for this officer’s release as soon as possible. The fact that he remains in Leavenworth alongside Nidal Hassan – the Fort Hood shooter – is deplorable. This man’s only crime was doing everything he could to protect his platoon.

The evidence supports his release… common sense supports his release… and the American people DEMAND his release!
