Nancy Pelosi is scrambling to band together enough GOP cowards to get her immigration bill passed.
Why is she rushing? Well, while the Supreme Court ruled last week that the President provided insufficient reasoning to cancel Barack Obama's illegal and unconstitutional amnesty program, the Court provided a way for the Trump administration to restart the process of ending the program.
While Roberts said Trump didn't provide a good enough reason for canceling Obama's amnesty executive order, he encouraged the President to try again.
Over the weekend, President Trump announced that he will be re-cancelling Obama's amnesty program, following the guidance given by the Supreme Court. DHS Acting Secretary Chad Wolf announced that the Department is rewriting the amnesty cancellation order. That is expected to be released this week.
Democrats were hopeful that the Supreme Court would block Trump from ever cancelling Obama's amnesty order. While they celebrated the initial decision, they are now terrified because instead of giving up, President Trump is forging forward and will try again.
That is why the Left is rushing to pass their amnesty bill by the end of this week. And they have GOP cowards lining up to help them!
At the top of the list is Mitt Romney. He has never seen an anti-Trump bill that he didn't like, and Nancy Pelosi's immigration bill is no different.
We are also hearing other GOP names we should be concerned about. Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-TN) is retiring at the end of this term. Without the fear of losing his seat, he cannot be trusted to hold the line. He was one of the GOPers the Left tried to flip on impeachment (and it almost worked). Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) is currently losing to popular conservative Congressman Doug Collins (R-GA) in the upcoming special election. If she believes she has no hope in winning, she could also flip and join the Democrats. Sen. Martha McSally (R-AZ) is facing an uphill battle in her Special Election and is also being mentioned as another GOPer who could flip to try to save their hide.
Beyond that, there is also the fact that Sens. Lindsey Graham (R-SC) and Marco Rubio (R-FL) also endorsed the amnesty bill that was brought to the floor back in 2014.
All told, we are hearing that as many as 8 GOPers in the Senate have already caved. This is on top of the dozens of Republicans in the House that want to pass an amnesty bill too.
Pelosi is rushing her bill through this week because she is confident she has the votes!
What would her amnesty bill do? It would grant amnesty and a pathway to citizenship to MILLIONS of illegal aliens. It would even grant amnesty to illegal aliens convicted of certain violent crimes as long as they have not gone to prison more than four times...
But Pelosi's amnesty package has changed in recent months. It now also includes the Farm Workforce Modernization Act. This legislation would grant amnesty and a pathway to citizenship for any illegal alien claiming to work in the agricultural industry. As if that wasn't radical enough, it would also grant amnesty and a pathway to citizenship to all of their family members too. Since there is no way to actually prove family relation, this bill is designed to be abused...
Don't think this has a chance of passing? When it was put to a test vote last year as a standalone bill, 34 GOP cowards jumped ship and voted for it...
The GOP has already caved to the Left in their backroom discussions. They are just looking for the right time to come out and make it official.
That is why you must rise up and stop them before it is too late!
President Trump will again sign an order to end Barack Obama's amnesty bill this week. Instead of giving up the way that Democrats and the GOP would have wanted, President Trump is doubling down on his promise to put an end to this illegal and unconstitutional program.
The GOP and Democrats thought they had time to push their new immigration package through, but now Trump's actions are forcing them to accelerate their timetable.
They are hoping that they can catch you off guard. They are hoping that they can stab you in the back before you realize what they are doing.
