The mainstream media is lying to you. All weekend, Fox, MSNBC, and CNN ran headlines claiming that an 'unarmed' African American man was killed in Atlanta for 'sleeping in his car.' These news reports were flat-out LIES. We saw rioters burn a Wendy's restaurant to the ground because of these mainstream media lies.
Here is the truth. Rayshard Brooks didn't fall asleep in his car. He passed out drunk, behind the wheel, in the middle of a Wendy's drive-thru. Police were called because he was blocking other drivers trying to pick up their food. When police arrived, they gave Brooks a breathalyzer test. He failed. When officers tried to place him under arrest for DUI, Rayshard Brooks attacked the officers and resisted arrest. He wrestled the officers on the ground and stole one of their tasers. He then tried to flee the scene, but as officers started gaining on him, Brooks turned around, pointed the taser at an officer, and fired it at him.
It was only after Brooks fired a weapon at a police officer that he was shot and killed. Rayshard Brooks was killed because he stole a police officer's weapon and fired it at him. These are facts.
It is a tragedy. All loss of life is tragic. But by all definitions, this was a justified police shooting.
The United Nations disagrees. At the behest of George Floyd's family and the ACLU, the United Nations Human Rights Council just announced they will begin debating "racially inspired human rights violations, systemic racism, police brutality, and violence against peaceful protesters" in the United States. This is the first step towards a real UN intervention.
But the UN isn't waiting for the formal intervention process to be complete. Over the weekend, UN officials began participating in street protests all over the United States. The Secretary General of the United Nations himself gave UN officials permission to begin working with rioters and protesters on the ground in the United States...
Now after the Rayshard Brooks case, the UN wants to pick up the pace on their "intervention."
This is insane. Rayshard Brooks was killed because he pointed a weapon as a police officer and fired it. He was not unarmed and he was not innocent. It is tragic that he died, but the idea that the United Nations is launching a human rights investigation into this is absolutely insane.
And yet, that is exactly what is happening. As I said, Leftists have been pressuring the United Nations to intervene in the United States to fight "systemic racism." Now, just a week after this Leftist pressure campaign started, the UN is moving forward. They have authorized UN officials to begin working with protesters and are rushing a hearing on police brutality and racism in the UN Human Rights Council. All to kick start a formal intervention.
And they are doing this with YOUR taxdollars. Think about that for a second. The United Nations is actively intervening in our domestic affairs, and we are the ones footing the bill...
There is a piece of legislation that can stop all of this. The American Sovereignty Restoration Act would pull the funding from the United Nations. Not just some of the funding... The legislation would defund the UN in its entirety.
The bill would cut every single cent. If they want to interfere with our domestic affairs, then the UN would need to do it without our funding.
For years, we have been pushing for this bill. It has been obvious that the UN uses our funding to try to undermine our sovereignty and chip away at our rights. But this is the first time that the United Nations has actually debated intervening in the US...
Interventions usually are reserved for cases of genocide or ethnic cleansing. But now, the UN wants to use the Rayshard Brooks shooting, where he was killed for shooting a weapon at an officer, as an excuse to fast track the intervention.
They need to be shut down right now and it is up to you to demand it!
The UN now has officials working on the ground with protesters, sowing unrest. The UN Human Rights Council has agreed to hold hearings on police brutality in the United States, to be used as a pretext for an intervention.
And they want to do it while we voluntarily contribute 1/5 of their operating budget...

Congress must pass the American Sovereignty Restoration Act and pull the plug on this lunacy for good.
But it is up to YOU to force Congress to hold the vote!
