There are now 22 million Americans on the unemployment rolls. We have documented how Democrat obstruction helped contribute to this. They delayed the 2.2 trillion stimulus package for an entire week, undoubtedly claiming American jobs in the process.
Then, when the White House warned that the Paycheck Protection Program would run out of funding this week and needed to have its coffers re-filled. But Pelosi and Schumer blocked the funding increase, claiming that it was unnecessary. Now, tens of thousands of additional American businesses have been forced to the brink of bankruptcy.
We have covered this in depth, and will continue to do so. But today, I want to talk to you about immigration.
Not illegal immigration, though the Democrats are still trying to get stimulus checks sent to illegal aliens... No, today I want to talk to you about foreign workers.
Every year, the US Government approves roughly 65,000 new H-1B and over 80,000 H-2B v.isas. These are foreigners brought into the United States to fill job openings that companies claim they cannot find an American to fill. Right now, there are hundreds of thousands of foreign workers who are only in this country because their employers claimed they couldn't find an American able or willing to do the job.
When you add in other guest worker programs, the "diversity" immigration lottery, and other programs, the US government ends up bringing over a million people into the country every single year.
This has always been bogus. Companies hire these H-1B and H-2B workers because they are able to pay them less than an American would demand to do the job. We have even seen companies like Disney force their American workers to literally train their H-1B replacements.
Now that 22+ million Americans are out of work, we can no longer afford this. There is no excuse to bring anyone else into this country. We need to put the American people first.
Our call to action today is simple: We are calling on Congress and the President to put an end to ALL immigration into the United States!
How can we possibly bring anyone into the country when over 22 million Americans are out of work? How can we possibly bring people into this country on a diversity or humanitarian basis when we are struggling to even take care of Americans?
The answer is that we simply cannot.
During the Great Depression, Herbert Hoover deported more than 800,000 illegal aliens to make sure that jobs were available for American workers. From 1931-1940, the United States averaged just 6,900 immigrants every year. In 2010, Congress passed legislation to prevent companies from using programs like H-1B to replace American workers with foreigners.
Whenever the country has been hit by a recession or depression, Congress has acted swiftly to cut off immigration into the country and stop companies from hiring foreigners instead of Americans.
But this time, Democrats are trying to do the opposite. Instead of putting Americans first, they actually want to extend stimulus benefits to foreigners (including illegal aliens). Instead of freeing up these jobs for Americans, Democrats forced a provision into the stimulus bill to actually extend foreigners' work permits so they can stay in the US longer...
And instead of cutting off foreign aid and immigration, the Left wants to double down by spending more overseas and bringing more immigrants into the country to compete against Americans for jobs.
Enough is enough. These idiots and traitors cannot be trusted to put Americans first. The only way they will do the right thing is if you FORCE them to!
Every time there has been a depression or recession, Congress has acted quickly to suspend immigration and protect American workers. But this time, the Left is doing precisely the opposite.
They are going out of their way to prioritize aid for foreign workers, both legal and illegal. They fought to include 760 billion in foreign aid in the stimulus.
They don't care about American workers. The only thing they care about is preserving their own power.
The only real fear these people have is that they will be removed from office...
That is our message today: If Congress does not vote to suspend foreign work permits and protect American workers instead, We the People will drag them out of office.
I don't care if they are Republicans or Democrats, any Congressman or Senator who puts foreign workers ahead of American citizens must be removed from power!
And that is why we need your help, right here and right now. We can win this fight, but only if we all rise together to strike fear into these cowards and traitors!
Hold their feet to the fire!
