Trump promised he would do it, and he delivered. All funding to the World Health Organization has now been cut off. In case you didn't know, the WHO is part of the United Nations and typically receives between 400 and 500 million in funding from American taxpayers every year.
It was just a couple weeks ago that the UN and WHO demanded that the United States give them 2 Trillion to combat the Coronavirus. Yes, the UN and World Health Organization have been demanding 10% of global GDP to create a one-world government.
President Trump had another suggestion. Instead of quadrupling America's World Health Organization funding, Trump just cut it all!
The Left is furious. They fought so hard to get extra UN funding added to the stimulus package and now Trump just cut it all with a single stroke of the pen.
Nancy Pelosi is now promising to stop Trump from cutting the UN and WHO's funding. She refuses to approve funding for American small businesses, but she is now racing to protect the UN's funding!
This is what it means to put America first. For years, the United States has been paying around 25% of the World Health Organization's budget. And yet, an American citizen has NEVER run the organization.
As we saw with the Coronavirus, the WHO was more interested in bowing down to China's demands than keeping the world safe.
So, Trump pulled the plug. Instead of sending our taxd ollars overseas, the 400-500 million will now be spent on American health organizations instead.
To say that Nancy Pelosi is furious would be an understatement. Pelosi just announced that she will rush a bill to the floor to reverse Pres. Trump's United Nations/World Health Organization cuts.
"This decision is dangerous, illegal, and will be swiftly challenged," Pelosi declared.
Other Democrats have gone a step further, accusing Trump of "violating" the same law that he "violated" by holding up foreign aid to Ukraine.
Yes, these Leftists are actually saying that Donald Trump should be impeached over this... For putting America first...
Nancy Pelosi is refusing to bring legislation to the floor to save American small businesses. Instead, she says her party will prioritize saving the foreign aid that Trump just cut.
These Leftists literally care more about saving jobs at the WHO than they care about protecting American small businesses...
The Left has already started rushing forward with their bill. They are leaving American businesses and workers out to dry, and are instead prioritizing helping this United Nations agency...
It really is despicable. First, Nancy Pelosi and the Democrats delayed the stimulus package for an entire week in order to get more foreign aid added to the bill. Now, after being notified that the small-to-medium business loan program is running out of funding, not only are they going to let that program shut down, but they are going to focus instead on keeping the WHO in business...
They blocked the funding to this stimulus program because they said they wanted the GOP to agree to fund their other priorities. Now we know that they were talking about sending hundreds of millions to the UN and WHO!
Our mission today is simple. We are going to bombard Congress with a half million FaxBlasts DEMANDING that they (1) preserve Trump's cuts to the United Nations and World Health Organization, (2) stop Pelosi from restoring their funding, and (3) pass a clean funding bill to protect American small businesses from going under!
