We live in a free country. Democrats have every right to complain about Donald Trump's policies. And as we have seen recently, if the Left is angry enough, they can even impeach him over it...
But there is a line that the Democrats are not allowed to cross. They cannot legally undermine the President when it comes to foreign relations. It is against the law for Democrats to try to take the United States' foreign policy into their own hands.
Any US citizen who fraudulently represents the United States abroad, without Presidential approval, violates a law known as the Logan Act.
For the last three years, we've known that the Left was secretly trying to undermine President Trump's foreign policy. Democrats were secretly conspiring with the United Nations and foreign countries to get around Donald Trump's new directives.
But over the past couple of weeks, the Left has started to get cocky. Not only did they let their treachery slip, but they actually started bragging about their crimes!
The first example we learned about was John Kerry. For the past three years, he has been secretly flying to Europe to meet with Iranian leaders to help them devise a way to get around President Trump's latest sanctions.
This is true. John Kerry told the Iranians not to negotiate with Trump and to just wait him out. The idea was that if Democrats could remove him from office, then they would be able to install a new President willing to bow down to the Iranians once again...
John Kerry isn't apologetic, either. In a recent interview, Kerry said that his meddling is okay because everybody is doing it. No, that doesn't make it okay, it just means that there are a lot more Obama-era criminals than we thought!
The next Democrat to slip up was Nancy Pelosi. As we have extensively reported, Pelosi traveled to Madrid, Spain in December to meet with world leaders at a UN Climate Conference and devise a way to circumvent Trump's decision to withdraw from the Obama-era climate deal.
Not only did Pelosi defy the President by attending the conference, but she literally told the world to disregard the President and negotiate with her instead... A clear and unapologetic violation of the Logan Act.
And then, we learned of another crime last week. Sen. Chris Murphy (D-CT) was at the Munich Security Conference and stepped away to hold a secret meeting with the Foreign Minister of Iran. President Trump is deliberately not talking to the Iranians, instead hoping that crippling sanctions will bring them back to the negotiating table.The sanctions have been working, and Trump's strike against Iran's top military commander proved to them that he means business.
Murphy said that he met with the Iranian leader -- one of the most heavily sanctioned people on earth -- because he disagrees with the President and believes that 'we should always be talking to our adversaries.' Sen. Murphy has since tried (and failed) to clarify that statement, explaining that he wasn't negotiating, just talking with them.
All three of these cases are clear examples of Logan Act violations. They include Democrats taking it upon themselves to negotiate on behalf of the United States specifically because they disagree with the President's policies.
If a Republican did this, they would already be in jail!
The double standard is clear. Remember, this is the same law that the Deep State used to entrap Michael Flynn. They claimed Flynn was violating the Logan Act by having meetings with Russian counterparts during the Presidential transition, and used that as the pretext to literally ruin his life.
In that instance, he was representing the incoming President. He had every right to start talking to foreign governments to ensure a smooth transition after the inauguration. What Democrats are doing is so much worse. It is treasonous.
They are traveling abroad and not only illegally negotiating with foreign governments, but doing so in an attempt to undermine official US foreign policy.
President Trump is calling on them to be investigated and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. But he cannot launch the investigation on his own.
That is where you come in! It only takes one Congressman or Senator to send a criminal referral to the DOJ and FBI.
You need to rise up and FORCE Congress to refer these criminals for prosecution.
