Breaking: Establishment Republicans have struck a deal with Democrats over a gun confiscation "compromise" bill.
But don't let that word fool you. There isn't any give-and-take here. Nothing pro-gun in the bill whatsoever.
The "compromise" is that instead of Democrats confiscating all guns, the GOP is only going to let them confiscate some Americans' guns...
Lindsey Graham is leading the negotiation. He started out with a bill that would have created a nationwide gun disarmament program. With your help, we buried his office in FaxBlasts and he agreed to back down. But now, he is back with a "compromise" plan. Instead of creating one national gun confiscation program, Graham's new proposal would create fifty different state-level confiscation programs. As if that is somehow better...
The plan would force states to adopt Extreme Risk Protection Orders to allow gun owners to be disarmed without due process and without even being accused of breaking the law.
Republicans are about to approve gun confiscation orders against innocent Americans and the Democrats are licking their lips...
If you listen to the Democrats' Presidential candidates, they are all proposing some form of Federal gun owner registration. Kamala Harris wants to outlaw private gun sales entirely. Corey Booker wants to license gun ownership so that anytime an American wants to buy a gun, they have to ask the Federal government for permission first.
But this is just half of their "solution." Once they know who has all of the guns, the Democrats want the right to confiscate them, even if a gun owner is innocent. That is what Lindsey Graham's bill would authorize.
Police and judges would suddenly have the power to suspend an American's 2nd Amendment rights without due process. Prosecutors wouldn't even need to file criminal charges beforehand.
Instead of having to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that someone is a criminal, Graham's bill would allow judges to approve firearm confiscation orders based on nothing but hearsay. Instead of being innocent until proven guilty, the gun owner is presumed guilty until they convince a judge they're innocent. And if they can't do that, then the confiscation order remains in effect for at least one year.
Only YOU can put the fear back into the GOP and force them to stand down, but you must take action now before it's too late!
We warned that this was going to happen. This confiscation bill isn't a Democrat creation... it is sponsored by Republicans.
It's no secret that Democrats want a total gun ban and nationwide registration. What is shocking is that the GOP wants to "compromise" by passing a new firearm confiscation bill.
